Students who auditioned for Advanced Theatre will be notified of their results on Friday March 21, 2025, via email in the afternoon.
Fine Arts opportunities in Drama at Discovery Middle School include the following courses:
- Beginning Theatre
- Intermediate Theatre
- Advanced Theatre
- Technical Theatre
Beginning Theatre is an introductory class geared towards students who are curious about the theatre arts. There is no public performance.
Intermediate Theatre requires Beginning Theatre as a prerequisite and does include a public performance after school.
Advanced Theatre requires an audition.
Technical Theatre requires Beginning Theatre as a prerequisite and involves working on all aspects of working backstage to produce a show, including sound, lights, sets, props, etc.
Discovery Drama Departments also participates in the Trumbauer, Jr. Festival, offers a Drama Club , and Jr. Thespian Society membership,
