Applications for the Madison City Pre-K program starting in August 2019 are now being accepted
The application window is January 15 through March 22.
During this time, any applications accepted will be entered into our random drawing. Applications submitted after March 22 will be added to the bottom of the waiting list.
The random selection will be held March 27 at the Central Office at 9 a.m. Attendance at the drawing is not required to accept a spot.
Pre-K tuition is based on a sliding scale, with no child costing more than $300 per month.
Children must be age 4 on or before Sept. 2 to be eligible for the Madison City PreK program. To apply, you will need your child's birth certificate, a copy of your lease, mortgage statement, or deed, and a current utility bill. Any incomplete applications as of March 22 will not be eligible for the random selection.
The above application is ONLY for First Class Pre-K which is housed at the Pre-K Center on Nance Road and at Rainbow Elementary.
